The Dodgers are signing outfielder David Peralta, reports Robert Murray of FanSided. It’s a one-year, $6.5MM guarantee and could max out at $8MM if he reaches all his incentives, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. The deal is pending a physical.

Peralta was one of the top remaining free agent outfielders. A longtime division rival in Arizona, he was dealt to the Rays last summer. The 35-year-old combined for a 251/.316/.415 line in 490 plate appearances between the two clubs. Owner of a robust .248/.316/.460 slash over 87 games before the trade, he stumbled to a ,255/.317/.335 mark to close out his platform year.
