Due to the MLB lockout, the New York Yankees have been unable to make any significant offseason moves this year. There were speculations before the lockout that they were trying to acquire some elite players such as Carlos Correa, Freddie Freeman, and a few others that could come in and make an immediate impact for this Yankees club and help them win a World Series.
