The Toronto Blue Jays are back in business, thanks in large part to the phenomenal pitching performance from young ace Alek Manoah. The 24-year-old right-hander has been sensational since his call-up to the big leagues last season, and he’s off to an outstanding start in the 2022 MLB season. He’s notched his place in Blue Jays history after his start on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox. Manoah’s WHIP now sits at an impressive 0.998, which is the lowest mark in franchise history through a pitcher’s first 30 starts.

Not even the late, great Roy Halladay was able to put up such dominant numbers to start his career in Toronto.
