The Memphis Grizzlies and veteran point guard Rajon Rondo have reached agreement on a buyout, setting the 35-year-old on course to become a free agent, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The Los Angeles Lakers are the front-runners to sign Rondo once he clears waivers, Charania adds.
