The Athletic

Both LSU's and Tulane's football teams are being relocated as southern Louisiana prepares for the effects of Hurricane Ida, which is supposed to make landfall Sunday night.

LSU is relocating to Houston and will stay there until flying to Los Angeles on Thursday for the season opener at UCLA on Sept. 4. Ed Orgeron's press conference Monday is also canceled.

Tulane volleyball and football will relocate to Tallahassee, Fla. and Birmingham, Ala., respectively, to practice in preparation for their games this week. Tulane football opens up against Oklahoma next Saturday.
