Would the Blue Jays do the once unthinkable and trade away the face of the franchise?

While it's almost near impossible to win a trade involving Guerrero being shipped out of town, the Blue Jays may need to think about moving the hard hitting first basemen if they can't reach a deal on a contract extension and if the season is falling by the waste side in a stacked AL East.

What would a return for Vladdy Jr look like? I'm glad you asked.

Here are three trade packages the Jays use as a starting point.

Vlad Guerrero Jr. to the Atlanta Braves:

Braves receive: Vlad Guerrero Jr.

Blue Jays receive: Ozzie Albies, Michael Soroka, Bryce Elder and additional assets.

Vlad Guerrero Jr. to the New York Mets:

Mets receive: Vlad Guerrero Jr.

Blue Jays receive: Ronny Mauricio, Francisco Alvarez,  Matthew Allan, Brandon Nimmo.

Vlad Guerrero Jr. to the Los Angeles Angels:

Angels receive: Vlad Guerrero Jr.

Blue Jays receive: Jo Adell, Reid Detmers, Jeremiah Jackson, and additional assets.
