Ime Udoka is officially back in the league.

The Houston Rockets struck a deal to make Udoka their next head coach on Monday afternoon, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Udoka was most recently suspended by the Celtics for a full season due to a number of team policy violations. The Celtics eventually promoted Joe Mazzula to replace Udoka in Boston. Udoka was reportedly in the running to take over the Brooklyn Nets earlier this season, too, but they opted to keep assistant Jacque Vaughn in the role instead after firing Steve Nash.
