Not really breaking news here but anytime Passan speaks about Ohtani you have to listen. He went on "Get Up" this AM and told Greenie what everyone in baseball knows. If the Angels fall out of contention around the trade deadline they will try to move Shohei Ohtani. They will likely have 29 other teams begging for his services and you can only imagine what the haul would look like if they were to move him. He's a free agent after this year so that's when the big bidding starts. We have seen major stars moved at the deadline in the past, however, and it could happen again this season if the Angels can't figure out a way to stay in the playoff race. 

It's been the dialogue of Mike Trout's whole career and now it's starting to follow Ohtani around…..get this guy off the Angels! Yes he chose to sign there but we're watching a once in a generation player waste away while the Angels struggle to get to 80 wins.
