Trae Young is one of the league’s best point guards, and there’s no doubt that he is playing at a high level for the Atlanta Hawks. As of right now, Trae Young is putting up 27.0 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 9.9 APG.

Previously, it was reported that there is a chance that Trae Young could end up requesting a trade from the Atlanta Hawks. A potential destination has recently been revealed by a report from Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, who suggested he could end up going to the Los Angeles Lakers due to his ties to Klutch Sports.

“I think Trae will want out after the season,” one NBA source said. “The Hawks probably try to get out of John Collins and others by the deadline, but Trae’s a long shot. Maybe the [Lakers] in July with his ties to Klutch [Sports].”

There is no doubt that Trae Young would be a good addition to the Los Angeles Lakers if he became available. Though there would be obvious hurdles for the Lakers in acquiring him due to them having limited draft compensation, previous reports suggested that they could manipulate the trade market for a player like Bradley Beal. Perhaps they could do the same for Trae Young.
