Terry Francona will be back as Guardians manager for 2023. In fact, Chris Antonetti, president of baseball operations, says the job is his for as long as he wants it.

Francona just finished his 10th season with the Guardians, leading them to the postseason for the sixth time. Cleveland, the youngest team in the big leagues, won the American League Central with 92 games, swept the Rays in the wild-card series and took the Yankees to the fifth and final game of the American League Division Series before losing.
