Former Vanderbilt wide receiver Cam Johnson has a new college home. Johnson announced his intentions to play for Arizona State in 2022 after entering the NCAA transfer portal back in November. It took awhile, but the former four-star recruit finally made his decision.
Johnson played in 11 games last season and played 36 total throughout four seasons. Last year, he had 34 catches for 327 yards, four touchdowns and 9.6 yards per catch.
He finished his time at Vanderbilt with 124 catches, 1,233 yards, 10 touchdowns and 9.9 yards per catch.
“Next chapter… Let’s work (Arizona State Football),” Johnson wrote on Twitter.
