The San Francisco Giants and outfielder Joc Pederson have agreed to a one-year, $6-million deal, according to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.

The 29-year-old is fresh off a World Series victory with the Atlanta Braves after spending the first seven years of his career with the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers.

Pederson, who the Braves acquired before the trade deadline from the Chicago Cubs, played an integral role in their championship, hitting .249/.325/.428 with seven homers and 22 RBIs over 64 games down the stretch. He also played hero in the postseason, hitting pinch-hit homers in Games 1 and 3 of the National League Division Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
