Players made a package offer spanning multiple issues to the owners on Saturday, the sixth day of meetings between Major League Baseball and the Players Association, a person with knowledge of the talks said.

The MLBPA proposal included moves on the competitive balance tax, arbitration eligibility and revenue sharing. The offer came after players spoke to one another via Zoom and in person for more than two hours at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.

When that conversation was over, the league’s contingent walked over to the players' side, including owners Ron Fowler, Dick Monfort and Hal Steinbrenner, for a brief 15-minute meeting, where the players delivered their offer.
