The New York Knicks are a team that hasn't improved during the offseason, despite all of the big-name additions to the roster. While they made the playoffs during the 2020-21 season, they are out of both the playoff and play-in tournament spots this year, currently in 12th place in the Eastern Conference.
It seems as though the New York Knicks could shake up the roster and make a trade to improve their roster. Marc Berman of the New York Post has recently revealed that the Knicks could potentially target Eric Gordon, a shooting guard who's been having a productive season with the Houston Rockets.
Knicks point guard Derrick Rose has had Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon on his radar. Now, with the Dec. 15 trade marker past, Knicks president Leon Rose does, too.
Gordon is on a long list of potentially available players the Knicks have talked about internally, according to a source. The 3-point shooting guard isn’t a fit for the rebuilding Rockets, as he turns 33 on Christmas.
