As the offseason rolls on, Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers continue to be one of the biggest storylines in the NBA. There is no way Simmons can return to Philadelphia after the performance he put on in the postseason. This means the Sixers will have to find a trade partner and get back a return for their one-time franchise point guard.

Philadelphia climbed to the top of the Eastern Conference this year. They entered the postseason as the No. 1 seed but did not make it out of the second round. The Sixers were eliminated in seven games by the Atlanta Hawks.

Simmons did not help on the offensive end of the floor and attempted just three shots in the fourth quarter of all seven games combined. Simmons has been featured in plenty of rumors and the Sixers can finally send him away and completely around Joel Embiid.

An interesting trade partner to keep an eye on is the Indiana Pacers. They have been a busy team in the trade market and that can continue moving forward.

The Pacers missed out on the postseason in the East this year. This was a bit of a surprise considering the type of team they have been for close to a decade. It is a bit of a transition. For Indiana, we could see some changes being made soon enough.

There will likely be plenty of teams interested in Simmons once he has made available. Philadelphia will have plenty of deals to choose from and this one from the Indiana Pacers could be near the top of the list.

Ben Simmons will clearly be the centerpiece in the NBA trade scenario going to the Indiana Pacers. The ongoing saga between the All-Star and the Philadelphia 76ers needs to reach a resolution at some point and this is an outcome that would do it.

The 76ers have been very demanding when looking for the right return for Simmons but will need to come down to Earth in their asking price. If the y are willing to do so, the Pacers have some intriguing pieces to potentially put in an NBA trade scenario.

Teams have not pulled the trigger just yet which means they might have to lower their asking price. In this case, the Sixers would still get players that are ready to contribute right away.

Malcolm Brogdon would be an immediate replacement at the top of the offensive — and a good one at that. The Sixers will also get some more help on the perimeter with TJ Warren.
