Have you ever dealt with money troubles? If not, congratulations. You’re in rare company. On average, most human beings find themselves in financial trouble at some point in their life. It’s stressful, but with some hard work and creativity, there’s usually a way out. NBA teams have financial trouble at times too.

After all, handing out contracts isn’t simple. Sometimes, a player regresses after you pay them. When that happens, you’ve got money troubles.

The Miami Heat have plenty of them. Duncan Robinson’s contract is widely regarded as a liability. On the other hand, Kyle Lowry’s is starting to look like one as well.

All told, this team’s books have become complicated.

By contrast, the Lakers don’t have the same financial woes. After all, Russell Westbrook’s contract is about to expire. On the other hand, they have plenty of trouble of their own.

Could they help clean Miami’s books in an effort to solve their own problems?
