After a couple of weeks in the college football season, teams are starting to find their level. Usually, early season games tend to involve mismatches, especially against non-conference opponents, but even those games can provide information.

Texas A&M was the sixth-ranked team in the country before losing at home to Appalachian State last week. That puts a lot more pressure on the Aggies in a tough matchup against the Miami Hurricanes this week.

Miami-Texas A&M and BYU-Oregon are the two games this week that involve head-to-head matchups of two Top 25 teams.

Miami at Texas A&M (-6, 44.5)

The No. 13 Hurricanes have a 2-0 record, having downed Southern Mississippi 30-7 last week, while the No. 24 Aggies were just upset 17-14 at home by Appalachian State.

The spread opened at 6.5 points, but with 70% of the handle on Miami, that has dropped to six. The total has dropped from 48.5 to 44.5, with 70% of the handle is on the Over.

After getting upset by Appalachian State, Texas A&M is reportedly turning to junior QB Max Johnson, a transfer from LSU who had 27 touchdowns and six interceptions for the Tigers last season.

Oklahoma at Nebraska (+11, 66.5)

No. 6 Oklahoma takes a 2-0 record on the road to play the Cornhuskers in Lincoln.

Sooners junior QB Dillon Gabriel has passed for 529 yards and five touchdowns and junior WR Marvin Mims has 10 catches for 244 yards two touchdowns in wins against UTEP and Kent St.

Nebraska fired head coach Scott Frost, replacing him with Mickey Joseph, after losses to Northwestern and Georgia Southern, sandwiched around a win against North Dakota.

BetMGM has received 76% of the wagers and 64% of the handle on the Sooners, but the coaching change has prompted the line to move from 14.5 to 11, with 81% on the Under as the total moved from 66.5 to 65.5.

Cornhuskers junior RB Anthony Grant has rushed for 428 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and five touchdowns in three games.
