It’s no exaggeration to say that there’s no ceiling on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s legacy. The greatest player in NBA history is very much on the table.

His mid-career resume is baffling. Back-to-back MVP awards. One of three players in NBA history to win MVP and Defensive Player in the same season (the other 2 are some guys named Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon). Most importantly, he’s already an NBA champion.

He’ll need more rings to approach history’s loftiest status. Whether it’s fair or not, one ring does not a GOAT make. Whether he’ll need to team up with stars to get there is a different question. The Greek Freak doesn’t need as much support as one of the mere mortal NBA players.

That doesn’t mean he couldn’t use it. Talent reigns supreme in the NBA.

Often, it feels like players are conspiring to form the next superteam before any general manager gets word of their own plan.

Here are three stars we’d like to see Giannis Antetkounmpo team up with before he calls it a career.

Bradley Beal

It feels like the Washington Wizards have gone as far as they’ll be able to go with Beal as the leading man. He’s a dynamic offensive presence. In 2020-21, he led the NBA in scoring with 31.1 points per game. With that in mind, how is it possible that Beal feels like a second option on a contending team?
