The stage is set for the United States men’s national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as it will feature in Group B.

The World Cup draw took place on Friday, where the USMNT watched as it drew England, Iran and the winner of the UEFA Path A playoff winner. The USMNT last met England in 2018, when The Three Lions came away with a 3-0 international friendly win. It has not faced Iran since 2000 when they clashed in a 1-1 international friendly draw result.

USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter sees that his team is in for quite a challenge later this year, which he touched on to BBC Sport.
