The LSU football staff is entering the offseason with just two scholarship cornerbacks returning in Raydarious Jones and Damarius McGhee, both of whom worked as backups for the Tigers this past season.

With hopes of stacking up more bodies at the position, LSU has now reeled in another transfer portal commitment at the spot.

On Wednesday, Oklahoma State defensive back Jarrick Bernard-Converse announced he was committed to the Tigers and would be transferring to LSU. The LSU program has also announced his signing.

The Louisiana native signed on with the Cowboys as a three-star recruit out of Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, where he was ranked as the No. 88 safety in the country and the No. 47 prospect in Louisiana for the 2018 class.
