Alphonso Davies has been in the middle of another stellar season for Bayern Munich but things are now on pause due to his recovery from Covid. After originally testing positive on January 5th, Davies along with five other members of the team had to isolate before returning to first team training on Wednesday.
Upon receiving an examination when returning, Davies was diagnosed with mild myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart. While it is not expected to be a danger to Davies long term, he won't be available for training during the next few weeks. Speaking on things, Julian Nagelsmann said.
