Jim Harbaugh has added a "Beat Georgia" period to Michigan's football practices, similar to a segment of drills associated with Ohio State, according to Bruce Feldman. Georgia handled the Wolverines two years ago in the College Football Playoff semifinals, trouncing Michigan in the Orange Bowl, 34-11. The Bulldogs won consecutive national titles since as college football's top program, a mountain Michigan hopes to scale as a preseason top-five team and championship contender.

Harbaugh's brother, John, hired former Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken in the same role this offseason with the Baltimore Ravens. Kirby Smart pushed Mike Bobo into the OC role in Athens and the Bulldogs hope they don't miss a beat offensively.
