A blockbuster trade proposal has the Baltimore Ravens landing one of the game’s top running backs to help Lamar Jackson and the offense.
The Ravens have had a busy offseason, signing veteran wideouts Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor in free agency. Then with their first-round selection (22nd overall), the Ravens drafted speedy Boston College wideout Zay Flowers.
J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill, all reliable options, headline Baltimore’s running back depth chart. But at NFL Analysis Network, Kenneth Teape proposed an intriguing trade idea that would see Baltimore land Aaron Jones from the Green Bay Packers:
“What could a trade between the Ravens and Packers look like? Eric DeCosta could offer a second and fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft…
With A.J. Dillon in the fold, the Packers could be comfortable moving on from Jones and giving Dillon an expanded role in the backfield. In Baltimore, he would share the backfield with Dobbins and Edwards but provide the team with a more than capable lead dog."
