One of the top teams in the Western Conference is reportedly looking for a way to land Portland Trail Blazers’ All-Star point guard Damian Lillard.

The Phoenix Suns will need a new starting point guard as they prepare to move on from All-Star Chris Paul. Per multiple reports, the Suns are exploring options with the future Hall of Famer, but it certainly looks like the organization is looking to move on.

An Eastern Conference executive spoke to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com and stated that the Phoenix Suns are eyeing a Lillard trade:

“There is a lot that can happen there. The Suns need depth all over that roster. They want to free up their payroll. They want to see if there is a way to bring in Dame (Lillard). They want to see what they can do with a DeAndre Ayton deal. There is a lot on the table.”
