The Toronto Maple Leafs have a ton of questions that need to be answered this offseason including who will be their GM, will they keep Sheldon Keefe on as head coach and what will they do with the core four?

The new GM would have to have a big set of you-know-what to make a bold deal that would ship out one of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, John Tavares or William Nylander.

If you're picking your poison, Nylander is the odd man odd given his contract situation and his ability to fetch a very good return for a team looking to upgrade their blue line.

There are several teams that fit the bill as potential landing spots.

Here are a few possibilities:

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings have been in a rebuilding phase and could benefit from adding a skilled forward like Nylander to their lineup. They have young assets and draft picks that might interest the Maple Leafs in a potential trade.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes have shown a willingness to make bold moves and have a strong group of young defensemen. They could be a good fit for Nylander, and their defensive depth might entice the Maple Leafs in trade discussions.

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks are another team in need of offensive firepower, and Nylander could provide a significant boost to their scoring. They have young assets and draft picks to offer in return, making them a potential trade partner.

New York Rangers

The Rangers have been aggressive in their pursuit of top talent and have a mix of young players and veterans. Adding Nylander to their already talented group of forwards could make them a formidable offensive team.

Montreal Canadiens

While division rivals, the Canadiens have shown interest in acquiring top-end offensive talent in the past. If the trade offers the Leafs a favorable return and the Canadiens are willing to make a deal, Nylander could potentially end up in Montreal.
