Dylan Raiola, the top quarterback and No. 1 player in the 2024 recruiting cycle, has committed to Georgia, he announced on social media Monday. Here’s what you need to know:
Raiola had also been considering Nebraska and USC. Raiola’s father, Dominic, was an All-American offensive lineman at Nebraska and played for the Detroit Lions. Raiola’s uncle, Donovan, is Nebraska’s offensive line coach.
Georgia’s class is once again ranked No. 1 nationally after briefly dropping to No. 2 following the decommitment (and subsequent flip to Florida State) of five-star tight end Landen Thomas. Raiola is the second quarterback in the Bulldogs’ class, joining four-star Ryan Puglisi from Connecticut.
Raiola will play his senior season at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix after transferring from Chandler (Ariz.) High.
Raiola initially committed to Ohio State over the summer but backed off of that pledge in December.
