Former Texas Tech forward Daniel Batcho is transferring to Louisiana Tech, he announced on social media Sunday. Here’s what you need to know:

Batcho averaged 7.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game for the Red Raiders last season. He ranked fourth in the Big 12 in total blocks with 35 in 23 games played.

The Paris, France, native is No. 12 on The Athletic’s best-available transfer rankings.

Texas Tech went 16-16 in 2022-23 under coaches Mark Adams and Corey Williams.
