Former Syracuse center Jesse Edwards is transferring to West Virginia, he announced on social media Sunday. Here’s what you need to know:

Edwards averaged 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game for the Orange last season.

The 23-year-old was sixth in blocks per game nationally.

He was the fourth-best transfer available on The Athletic’s rankings.

West Virginia went 19-15 in 2022-23 under coach Bob Huggins. Edwards is the third transfer portal addition for the Mountaineers this offseason.
