The UConn Huskies cemented their status as a blue-blood basketball program by notching their fifth title in the last 25 years. Dan Hurley's squad crushed the competition with six double-digit victories in as many games during the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

In the era of the transfer portal and NIL deals, defending your crown is as difficult as ever. UConn will try to become the first back-to-back champ since Florida accomplished the feat in 2006 and 2007, but plenty of quality programs figure to be in the mix next season.

Duke (+1600 via Caesars)

Head coach Jon Scheyer's first season at the helm ended in the opening weekend of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, but the Blue Devils posted a strong finish to end the season that included winning the ACC tourney. That was a testament to Scheyer's ability to adjust midseason, such as moving Tyrese Proctor to point guard.

Proctor and Mark Mitchell are set to return, and Duke unsurprisingly brings in another loaded recruiting class that features three five-start recruits. If Kyle Filipowski and Dereck Lively II choose not to head to the NBA, the Blue Devils will be a deserving frontrunner entering next year.
