Nobody on planet earth is hotter than Caitlin Clark right now. The Iowa Hawkeyes stormed through the Elite Eight and Final Four on the back of their fearless leader.
Clark posted a monstrous triple-double with 41 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists in the win over Louisville earlier this week then followed that up with another 41-point performance on Friday to stun the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks, a team that hasn’t lost since March of last year.
The back-to-back 40-point efforts has never been done in women’s tournament history and has only been done once ever (Austin Carr in 1970). The 40-point triple-double has never been seen in March Madness ever, by a man or woman. Neither has anybody else scored as many points as Caitlin Clark’s 41 in a national semi-final.
