They say you should never say never. The NBA is no exception to that rule. 

You may want to say never. In a given moment, you may feel like something will never happen. In your wildest dreams, you couldn’t imagine it. 

It may happen anyway. The future is notoriously difficult to predict.

For example, look at Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers. Years ago, his father said that he’d never play for the Boston Celtics.

Perhaps he should not have ever said never. 

Who knows? The Lakers could trade him to the Celtics for Jaylen Brown this summer.
