Jancek will fill the vacant LSU coaching slot left by former special teams coordinator Brian Polian’s move to an off-field role.

Jancek is a longtime Brian Kelly assistant and has been a defensive coordinator at Georgia, Tennessee, Cincinnati and Colorado State before spending the last three years as an analyst at Georgia and LSU.
