Building an NBA champion is difficult enough. To build a dynasty is nothing short of remarkable.

Of course, the criteria for what qualifies as a dynasty is not ironclad. Do back-to-back titles count as a dynasty? Does a threepeat?

Or, does a team need a Chicago Bulls-esque run – six titles over the course of a decade?

Whatever your standard, the Golden State Warriors should meet it by now. This team has won four championships over seven seasons. Last year’s run solidified it – this is a dynasty.

It may be crumbling. The Warriors don’t look the part of a serious title contender this season. If they come up short, who knows what they could do this summer?

They could even trade for OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors.
