Cincinnati coach Scott Satterfield is expected to hire Virginia Tech quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Brad Glenn as the Bearcats’ offensive coordinator, program sources confirmed to The Athletic on Tuesday. BearcatJournal.com was first to report the news. Here’s what you need to know:
Glenn would replace Tom Manning, who recently departed Cincinnati after a brief stint as offensive coordinator and tight ends coach to be tight ends coach for the Indianapolis Colts under new head coach Shane Steichen.
Glenn has more than two decades of experience as an assistant and offensive coordinator at the college level, including previous stints at Appalachian State, Western Carolina and Georgia State.
Glenn spent the 2022 season at Virginia Tech under first-year coach Brent Pry. He previously worked alongside Satterfield at Appalachian State from 2005-08.
