Leeds United have announced that Michael Skubala will continue his role as interim manager for the time being as they continue to find a new permanent boss.

The Whites parted ways with Jesse Marsch – who is now closing in on the Southampton job – last week and have been trying to find a successor since.

They failed in approaches for Rayo Vallecano's Andoni Iraola and Feyenoord's Arne Slot, while they have backed away from former Ajax boss Alfred Schreuder.
