Alabama has extended men’s basketball coach Nate Oats through 2029, the team announced Friday. Here’s what you need to know:

The new deal adds two more seasons to his last extension signed in February 2021.

He will make $4.5 million in the first year of his new contract with annual increases, ranking him fourth among SEC coaches in annual compensation.

Oats is in his fourth season helming the program and has posted an 80-39 overall record with the Tide.
