In today’s NBA, wings are all the rage.

Many of the league’s best players are wings. To be specific, two-way playmaking wings are possibly the most popular star archetype in the NBA.

Perhaps that’s owed to LeBron James – after all, the NBA is a copycat league.

Still, any contender needs a platoon of quality defensive wings. Even a team that’s built around a guard or a big man needs them for support. If you don’t have them, you’re losing an arms race.

The Toronto Raptors have plenty of them. In fact, they may have too many. Over the summer, it was speculated that OG Anunoby was growing displeased with his limited role on the squad.

Lately, those rumors have quieted down. That doesn’t necessarily mean that all is well.

In the event that it isn’t, here’s a deal that sends Anunoby to the New York Knicks.

Toronto Raptors Receive: C Isaiah Hartenstein, F Obi Toppin, 2023 First-Round Pick (DAL via NYK)

New York Knicks Receive: F O.G. Anunoby
