Every NBA season is unpredictable. On the other hand, some are more turbulent than others.

Plenty of factors go into determining how much player movement occurs in a year. One of them is the NBA draft. If a strong class is on the horizon, you can expect more movement.

Rebuilding teams will look to tank harder, and contending teams will look to take advantage. With that in mind: expect a lot of movement this summer.

After all, the upcoming draft isn’t just strong. It’s potentially historic. Teams near the bottom of the standings are already dreaming of Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson.

By contrast, contending teams would love to have their best players.

Here are three deals we’d like to see during what could be a monumental trade season in the NBA.
