Colorado fired coach Karl Dorrell on Sunday following a 43-20 loss to Arizona on Saturday, the school announced. The Buffaloes are 0-5 after also falling to TCU, Air Force, Minnesota and UCLA in the first four weeks of the season.

Defensive coordinator Chris Wilson is also out.

Offensive coordinator Mike Sanford Jr. has been named Colorado’s interim head coach. Additionally, Defensive line coach Gerald Chatman has been promoted to defensive coordinator, and tight ends coach Clay Patterson will be the offensive coordinator.
