Cristiano Ronaldo wants to feature at Euro 2024 — when he will be 39 years old.

The Portugal captain has featured in nine major tournaments for his nation, starting with Euro 2004. He won Euro 2016 with his country and the 2018-19 Nations League.

And the 37-year-old Manchester United forward has looked beyond this winter’s World Cup towards Euro 2024 in Germany, which will be the 20th anniversary of his first major tournament appearance for his country.
