Plenty of fanbases around the NBA dreamed of acquiring Kevin Durant this summer. When he issued a trade request, minds across the league began to wander. On the other hand, when he rescinded that request, they stopped.

Life can be hard, but no matter how hard it gets, never give up on your dreams.

Sometimes, a dream can begin to feel impossible. After a certain length of time without progress, it’s easy to feel like you’re never going to get where you wanted to go.

On the other hand, sometimes, a dream appears to be dead when actually, it’s only sleeping.

Perhaps they shouldn’t have. Durant may not want out of town now, but if the Nets got off to a slow start, would you be shocked if his trade request resurfaced? Alternatively, would you be shocked if it didn’t?

In the event that it does, here’s a deal that sends Durant to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Brooklyn Nets Receive: F/C Jaren Jackson Jr., G/F Dillon Brooks, G/F Ziaire Williams, 2023 First-Round Pick (MEM), 2024 First-Round Pick (GSW via MEM), 2026 First-Round Pick (MEM), 2028 First-Round Pick (MEM)

Memphis Grizzlies Receive: F Kevin Durant
