Fate is one of the longest-standing matters of debate between human beings. Do you believe in fate? It’s a difficult conclusion for most of us to make, especially if you’re signed to an NBA contract.

On the one hand, the idea that we don’t have control over our own destiny can be overwhelming. With that said, it can, at times, feel unavoidable. Just when you think it doesn’t exist, fate will rear its head. 

Again, the National Basketball Association and its players can’t escape fate either. Sometimes, it feels like the fates of certain players and/or teams are intertwined. 

Perhaps two teams regularly find themselves in a position where they have a logical move to make with one another.

Their franchise histories are suddenly intertwined. Is that fate, or an elaborate coincidence? You can be the judge of that.
