Michigan State’s Class of 2023 received a boost Saturday with five-star power forward Xavier Booker announcing his commitment to the Spartans.

Booker ranks as the No. 3 player in 247Sports’ ratings for the class. The 6-foot-10 Indianapolis native also ranks as the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana. He becomes the Spartans’ highest-ranked recruit since Jaren Jackson in 2017.
