Cristiano Ronaldo has told Manchester United he wants to leave the club this summer, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports.

Ronaldo would only push for an exit if United received a suitable offer, according to Ornstein.

The 37-year-old is reportedly hoping to close out his career with a team that can compete in the Champions League and contend for titles.
