After the Kyrie Irving news saw the light earlier this week, everybody has tried to predict what is going to happen to the Brooklyn Nets star. Following a tumultuous 2021/22 NBA season at Barclays Center, Kyrie and the Nets had an impasse while discussing his contract extension and now the veteran guard could be leaving the Brooklyn Nets.
The rest of the week hasn't been different. Everybody wants to say something about this, trying to shed light on what happened to Irving and his team and what's next for them. Well, while some reports suggest that the Los Angeles Lakers are the most significant threat to sign Irving this offseason, others claim that the Purple and Gold aren't the only ones with a serious interest in the 2016 NBA champion.
The Miami Heat appear to be a legit competitor for the Lakers this summer, as they have the assets and the type of talent that could lure Kyrie away from Brooklyn. Some have stated that trading just for Kyrie would do the job for the Heat, but Fox Sports analyst Chris Broussard has a different idea.
