The New York Mets and Minnesota Twins are among a few clubs showing an early interest in acquiring Cincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

Castillo, who’s arbitration-eligible through 2023, will likely be one of the top trade targets available this summer before the Aug. 2 deadline.

The 29-year-old owns a 3.71 ERA with 9.7 K/9 over six years with the Reds.
