Heading into the 2021-22 season, many NBA observers would have predicted the Los Angeles Lakers versus Brooklyn Nets matchup in the Finals. In case you haven’t been following, it didn’t happen.
In fact, it didn’t even come close. Both of these teams had to have been disappointed with their seasons and now could benefit from looking to the offseason for meaningful roster changes.
The Nets at least managed a trip to the postseason, but they were quickly eliminated by the eventual Finalist Boston Celtics. They never stood a chance in their lone playoff series. At least they competed in a playoff series.
That’s more than we can say for the Los Angeles Lakers. With 34 wins, they failed to make a playoff appearance.
Either one of these sides could justify making sweeping changes this summer. Trading for Anthony Davis would qualify as one. So, of course, would trading Anthony Davis.
Here are three deals that send him to the Brooklyn Nets.

Brooklyn Nets Receive: F/C Anthony Davis
