Cincinnati's football program landed a massive commitment on Saturday from Class of 2023 defensive back Daeh McCullough, a four-star prospect out of Indiana. McCullough becomes Cincinnati’s highest-rated defensive commit of the 247Sports era, according to composite grades, and second all-time behind only quarterback Evan Prater. McCullough is the 219th-ranked prospect in the 2023 class.

McCullough, a former Indiana commit, is the son of current Notre Dame running backs coach and former NFL running back Deland McCullough. Deland McCullough previously worked with the Kansas City Chiefs and was at Indiana last season before moving to South Bend in February. He played his college ball at nearby Miami (Ohio) in the mid-1990s.
