Arkansas signed head coach Sam Pittman to a contract extension through at least the 2026 season, the school announced Thursday. The contract could go into the 2027 season based on on-field success.

In the new deal, Pittman will receive a raise as his salary increases to $5 million per year. He previously was making $3 million through 2024.

"Coach Pittman and his staff have done a tremendous job quickly restoring the pride and belief in our football program,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek said. “There is no doubt, Coach Pittman has proven to be the right man to lead our football team."
