Manchester United is looking to make some sweeping changes to the roster this summer. After it was reported that Erik Ten Hag would be backed with as much as £120,000,000 in the summer window, the new Manchester United boss has identified players atop his shortlist of transfer targets. Defense will be a key area of focus for Ten Hag in the summer window, and he’s identified at least four defenders whom he’s keen on bringing to Old Trafford.

Among the players Ten Hag is interested in signing at Manchester United include a handful of his former stars at Ajax. Defenders such as Jurrien Timber, Lisandro Martinez, and Matthijs de Ligt are all in play for Ten Hag, having all developed into star players under his watch. Additionally, Villarreal star Pau Torres is also said to be of interest to Manchester United this summer, as they look to bolster the defense amid a disappointing campaign.
